Members AGM Notice – Join us online on January 21st, 2021

This year The Co-op Credit Union will be holding a virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) for members due to the ongoing restrictions we are all living under as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Though it will be a shame not to see many of you in person, we hope that an online event will prove more accessible for many members who have had difficulty attending in person in the past.

The AGM will take place from 12 noon to 2pm on Thursday 21 January 2021.

To register for the event please follow the link below and supply your name, email address and membership number.

Register for the AGM

Once you’ve registered to attend, you will receive an email confirming your place with a link to join the meeting on the day. AGM papers can be downloaded below.

The AGM covers the year 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020 which is the credit union’s financial year.

At the AGM you will:

  • Hear updates on the credit union’s progress during the year from the board & the chief executive

  • Receive a report on the financial accounts for the year

  • Receive a report from the credit union’s external auditors

  • Consider and vote on proposed changes to the credit union’s rulebook:

    • Expanding the credit union’s common bond

    • Changing how the credit union’s governance works

  • Elect directors to the credit union’s board

  • Approve the dividend for the year

  • Approve the credit union’s external audit partner for the new financial year

As well as the formal business, the meeting will also give you an opportunity to put a face to a name as our staff team will be online for the session to say hello to you all.

If you have questions you’d like to put to the meeting in advance, you can do so by emailing credit.union@co-operativecreditunion.coop and using “AGM Question” as the subject line.
