December Members’ News : Important Christmas Updates

Read on for important updates on our Christmas and New Year opening times, but first:

A Very Merry Christmas to all our Members!

Instead of sending cards in the post this year, we’ve set up this digital Christmas card to raise vital funds for The World Association of Credit Union’s (WOCCU) Disaster Relief Fund – Project Storm Break.

It’s the idea of our very own Operations Director, Andrew Davey – part of a campaign to raise £100,000 for Project Storm Break – the international credit union and co-operative movement’s response to help people affected by disasters around the world.

We hope you’ll agree that it’s a fitting way to convey our warmest Christmas wishes to you and all our members, whilst helping others too – now that’s what we call a co-operative Christmas card!

Why not join us? save money on cards, postage and time by making a small donation and download one of four digital Christmas card designs to send to your friends and contacts and share on social media.

Christmas Opening Hours

Please be advised that the Credit union office will be open as follows over the Christmas and New Year break:

Christmas Cut-off Dates

Withdrawal requests:
  • Withdrawal requests made by email must be received by midnight on Thursday 20th December
  • Online withdrawals made before 12 o’clock on Christmas eve will reach members accounts by 1pm that day
Christmas Loans:

Every year, we issue hundreds of Christmas loans to our members, and the team are now busy processing a high volume of applications in the run-up to the festive period.

In order to ensure adequate time to process payments prior to the Christmas break, we would advise that all applications are in by midday on Monday 17th December at the latest.
