Surveys show that the average UK household sends 33 Christmas cards every year. The costs of purchasing, writing and postage can easily be in excess of £50.
Instead, why not send a digital Christmas Card? Quick and easy, no paper, no fuss, and with some of the money you save, you could help a good cause by making a donation.
That’s why this year, we’ve set up digital Christmas cards to raise vital funds for The World Association of Credit Union’s (WOCCU) Disaster Relief Fund – Project Storm Break.
It’s the idea of our very own Operations Director, Andrew Davey – part of a campaign to raise £100,000 for Project Storm Break – the international credit union and cooperative movement’s response to help people affected by disasters around the world. Although it’s not a traditional Christmas card, we hope you’ll agree, it’s a fitting way to convey our warmest Christmas wishes to you and all our members, whilst helping others too – now that’s what we call a co-operative Christmas card!
Why not join us? and save money on cards, postage and time – by making a small donation if you can, or perhaps the amount you’d normally spend on cards – and download one of five digital card designs to send to your friends and contacts. It’s also better for the environment too!

Instead of sending Christmas cards this year, I’ve made a donation to Project Storm Break. It’s the international credit union and cooperative movement’s response to help people affected by disasters around the world. Find out more at http://www.doglobalgood.org/stormbreak
